KCET exam is objective type with multiple choice questions. TestBag broadly covers multiple choice questions in topics/subtopics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
as outlined in syllabus of KCET
User should initially assess and practice regularly preferably daily on the subtopic/topic of each subject taught whether by self study, in school or coaching class. (TestBag recommends assessment of 10 minutes on topic taught on the the day in each subject preferably on the same day) by creating tests on keywords/ subtopics/topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. By self evaluation on each topic taught, you can identify weak areas where either the concepts are not clear or some important points have not been covered. Thereafter initiate steps to cover identified gaps in knowledge by taking help of books, peers, mentors and teachers. Assesment evaluates learning and creates learning challenges thus self motivating you to improve. Practice will bring fair confidence in you.
(Memorising should not be mistaken with learning. Most of what is remembered is short lived and quckily forgotten. On other hand Learner’s find knowledge retention long lived in their minds because they put in efforts to gain understanding in the form clear enough for them. Learning leaves learner’s enriched with lasting knowlege)
For KCET, TestBag recommends assessment and practice on multiple choice questions with following difficulty levels
Physics with difficulty level MEDIUM
Chemistry with difficulty level MEDIUM
Biology with difficulty level MEDIUM
Once user has gained sufficient confidence in different subject and topics, he/she may start practicing on model tests for KCET . The model test patterns for Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics are based on previous exams or created by subject matter experts. Model Tests will be created based on parameters defined in each pattern . The model test for KCET will have multiple choice questions
The model test will simulate Exam Like Environment keeping previous exam trend in view. Based on previous exam patterns ,each Model Test will have specific question types, number of questions for each type, level of difficulty for questions, marking pattern for each question type (for correct, incorrect and questions not attempted), will be in sections as in exam. The model test is to be completed in specific time as defined in previous patterns
The user can take any number of model test on each pattern. Each model test will have different questions but on specific pattern for users to practice. (There can be exceptions in very few cases where some questions may get repeated)
Results of self created tests and model tests are stored in Test History to enable user to discuss shortcomings with teachers/mentors and initiate steps to improve further
